Is an SMSF the right choice?
When investing your superannuation savings, the first choice is to decide whether to:
- use a retail fund, corporate fund (if applicable) or industry fund or
- run your own fund as an SMSF.
The decision to set up an SMSF is based on several factors but will generally start with whether you want to have greater control over your superannuation savings and whether you have the time and responsibility that comes with managing your own superannuation fund.
